Eyes Were Rolled

My scanner cooperated long enough for me to scan the rest of my negatives from San Francisco, Monterey, and Pacific Grove. When I went to turn the beast on this past Monday, it was dead again. The repair shop ordered a whole new board (for the third time) and now a new power cord, and I have to drop it off on my lunch today. They said they'd only keep it for an hour, and I hope that's the case. Having a constantly broken scanner is putting a crimp in my style, though I did laugh out loud on Monday when it wouldn't power up. Eyes were rolled. Oh, technology.

The photos above are from my Banner Diana clone, probably my most favorite camera at the moment. I just loved Northern California. We've got to go back.

These are superb. The seashore always makes a wonderful subject.

Love these photos. Do you develop them yourself ? You have such a gift with this type of camera... I know because I DO NOT have the gift !

Thanks Charles! I wholeheartedly agree.

Hi Dharma, thanks! I take my negatives to a local lab called Nichols. They do a great job. It might be a little bit of a gift, but trust me, I have spent a LOT of time practicing. :)

One more thing... how do you get the uneven border around the photos. I have asked and asked around here and cannot get an answer. These photos are so beautiful...
